聞かせる系の演奏だろうと思っていたのだが、予想外にもアグレッシブな演奏に驚いた。
序盤はジャックの音程が安定しないし、特にDead Leaves And The Dirty Groundなんて酷いものだった。
しかし、そんなことは問題ではない。
ホワイトストライプスの演奏には観客を彼らの世界に引きずり込む熱い何かがあった。
2人の他にヘルプの演奏者がいると思っていたのだが最後まで2人のみで打ち込みも一切なし。
ライヴはジャックの感情爆発の場といった感じでメグが脇から支えるといった印象を受ける。
これが凄くて否応なくノックアウトされた。
音も2人だけとは思えないほど厚くて、2人の息もピタリ。
2人でここまでできれば他人は必要ないだろうなあ。
いい意味で期待を裏切られた楽しいライヴでした。
木琴も見れたしメグの歌もよかったし。
